Monolithic technology at Cantieri Navali di La Spezia. Monolithic is the only one-piece sail in the world entirely made with spread fiber technology. Marco Holm, Davide Innocenti and Marco Savelli, from Milleniem Technology Center, attended the event, organised in partnership with Paolo Gianardi. They explained the revolutionary technology to boat Masters, showing a model of Monolithic sail. Thanks to its long-standing experience in the sailmaking business, its exclusive technologies and its know-how, the Millenium Technology Center delivers sails for all kind of boats and is able to customise every sail and its finishing. The Monolithic sail is built only with unidirectional spread fibers through the joining of the various layers from corner to corner of the sail and has a 100% balanced structure. The sail is built thanks to special machinery specially constructed to spread and plot fibers and with the use of ovens with ceramic and carbon components.]]>
