April 1st, 2016. The Millenium Technology Center joins La Lunga Bolina regatta this year. La Lunga Bolina is one of the trial of the Italian Offshore Championship and the first regatta of the TAT – Trofeo Arcipelago Toscano 2016 (Tuscany Archipelago Cup). The Florence based sailmaker will raffle several Awards for Overall, ORC e IRC winners. Marco Holm e Davide Innocenti commented, “the Millenium Technology Center has provided competition sails to its customers for more than 35 years, with particular focus to high quality, technology and innovation. This is why we decided to join La Lunga Bolina: to support the growth of a fantastic sport event, that shares our values and gathers many customers in a wonderful landscape.” La Lunga Bolina is open to boats with more than 9 meters LOA, with a valid ORC International or ORC Club certificate. The boats will divided in classes and there will be another classification for boats with IRC certificate. There will be one competition with three different courses from 120 to 150 Mm. The start will be on Friday, April 22 at 4 p.m. at Riva di Traiano Harbour. The YB Tracking system will allow the total tracking of the regatta. The Awards will include: Millenium Cup, other Millenium prizes, Francesco Caravita di Toritto Cup, Challenger Lega Italiana Vela Cup, Challenger Sergio Recchi Cup.
